Demolition of existing buildings and construction of a new mixed-use development combining a day-care centre and seven apartments for the CPAS of Ixelles.
The project closes the urban block and activates the existing alleyway, creating a clear connection between the street, the housing and a landscaped inner garden. The ground floor hosts the day-care centre, open to the public realm, while the upper floors accommodate bright, dual-aspect apartments, each with a private terrace and access to a shared rooftop terrace.
Designed with a focus on durability and simplicity, the building integrates reused materials, robust construction principles and renewable energy systems to provide a sustainable and high-quality living environment.
