Competition organized by the Académie des Beaux-Arts for the awarding of the Grand Prix of Architecture. In 2010, the proposed theme was closely linked to current events and involved the design of housing intended to respond to extreme crisis situations such as earthquakes, tsunamis, and violent conflicts. This housing, designed to temporarily accommodate populations, had to be made from elements that are easy to assemble, dismantle, transport, and reuse, while ensuring minimum living conditions for periods of at least one year. The second phase of the competition required integrating the project into a real-world context.
